On Friday 10th November, as close as we could get to 11am, the whole school stopped for our time of Remembrance – for all who have fought in war, for armed forces and civilians killed during war. We prayed for peace and reconciliation between peoples and nations.
One of the students played the Last Post on the trumpet to mark the beginning of the time of silence and a prayer was said to bring our time of remembrance to a close.
‘When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say, For Your Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today.’
